I love the die cracks on the reverse on a modern coin.

OK. What am I seeing that looks like die cracks? Top of left wreath through O top of N through E then parallel and inside of right wreath to below e.

Recent purchase 1978s Type 1 Kennedy Half Dollar Cam Proof, and I can not find any info on this coin. There is plenty of info on a 1979s Type 1 but not on my coin. Came with $16.00 purchase of 15 coins. Any help is appreciated.

Have you seen any 78s that aren't type 1s?

No I have not, although the Red Book only lists the first Type 1 as a 1979s. I was thinking it could be a transitional error coin meaning the 1978s . Thanks for your reply.

I just checked Heritage and saw both so it may simply not have caught anybody's attention. I don't know if it is from a different HUB or die wear.

    1853 N-21 R.3. $39.99 + $6.00 shipping.
1853 is not my favorite year to attribute but the rev. die chip makes this one easy. IMG_7424.JPG IMG_7425.JPG

I went to the LCS on my lunch hour and they had a roll of uncirculated 1927 Lincolns with roll toning. I tried to get the best of the bunch, of course, and to me that means the one with the most beautiful natural orange / gold toning.

If this is MS66 RD then it is worth more than the $10 they asked for it. Of course, there are about 30 more of them...

The reverse looks like it's on it's way to becoming a Woodie.

This Nova Constellatio post colonial Copper is pretty weakly struck on areas, but if I recall I only paid like 15 bucks for it.

(the medal in the center is actually 8.5 oz of sterling silver and was $2 with the original box, COA, and outer box)

Man, I'd love to get my hands on the second best 1927 cent - for my 1927 hoard (my grandma's birth year)
