I have been blessed this year,I picked up a new hobby, met alot of great ppl,and learned so much about coins from all of the great people in the Coin Talk community.
With that being said,I have decided to give back to the community by doing a small giveaway to show by appreciation.
I have really enjoyed searching for error coins specifically and have found some great things over my short time in collecting. All prizes were found in circulation by me personally.
I really want to get these coins in the hands of people who will appreciate them for what they are,and who better than the great family here at Coin Talk. Thank you everyone for the help and support.

    To enter:
In the spirit of thanksgiving, all you have to do is say the the word "Turkey" and comment a picture of any DAMAGED coin that is NOT caused by the mint. The worse it is,the better,Have fun:sour:

One entry per person, regardless how many times you comment.

I will choose my 5 favorites on the morning of Thanksgiving.

There are 5 prizes to choose from.

Here's my ugly coin for the turkey contest.

1875 Indian cent. First one I ever found while detecting. It doesn't look like much, but I was excited to dig it.

And since Turkey is the theme, here are two (non-dug) coins from Turkey, just for good measure.

Turkey (Seljuks of Rûm): silver dirham of Kaykhusraw II; lion & sun, AH 638 (1240-1241)

Turkey, gold zeri mahbub of Sultan Selim III, AH 1203, regnal year 4 (ca. 1793-1794 AD)[IMG]

masterswimmer A Caretaker, can't take it with me

    Turkey!

I found these three in the CoinStar reject bin.
I'm leaving all three in the pic although the middle one is the real submission here.
