No they are not. Damage inflicted by an aggressive coin roll crimping machine is simply that.... Damage.

 

Damaged coins are not considered errors.

They are considered damaged or altered.

Errors, as made in the US Mint, are considered errors.

That is a circle caused by the crimping of the wrapper. As stated.. Not a mint error.

 

And.. No coin would be considered worthless.. Only face value. 1 Cent is worth.. 1 Cent

Welcome to CT L_A. PMD is post mint damage, meaning it happened after it left the mint. In most cases the damage doesn't affect the coins face value and it should be spendable.
