First of all, I am grateful once again, for this opportunity to win something so interesting and nice that otherwise I might never own.

I have never won before, so the prospect seems hard to fathom, but I am hopeful.

These are rare specimens of coin collecting to me and I would be
happy to accept any one of them.

Thanks to LordM for your dedication, and hard work to improve our knowledge of the coinworld.

    AMAZING CONDITION
900$... My crown Royal half gallon gets around $400... There's twice as much in the he container... An. The Folgers can... So. I say $900... Since she went 888? And then the 900+... So I'll go inbetween

My ENTRY POST ... This is a 1957 (60 in star)Ptas.... I see there are various values of this coin... But, not sure if this is an error coin... The back of the coin was struck and you can clearly make out Franco... At least Franc in reverse...I shot it in different light settings hope it helps... Just curious...

I believe it is a die clash, the 2 dies struck without a coin planchet between, transferring some of the devices from one die to the other.

Rather an ornate 19th century pocket watch, is my guess. Obviously dug, from the corrosion of the metal, but really neat looking. I've dug some in my years as a detectorist. Oftentimes the metal is badly corroded like that, but the porcelain watch faces survive perfectly intact in the ground.

The green "swirlies" for numerals on that one are really cool. It must have been quite a fancy watch. Great find.

Entry Post. 3,7,2,1,4,6,5. Here is my favorite error coin that I own to date. Large broad strike with partial brokage the broad strike was so large it caused the plating on the reverse to split. I still haven't got around to sending it in for preservation but I will some day. 1998bro1.jpg 1998bro2.jpg
