Thanks for reading my mind. Figure how many negs got "erased" when ebay changed policy, the fact this dude has over 20,000 feedback and he's still at 96%? Shows me the guy gets a ton of negs without even having to look and giving stuff away can pump it up. The positive that is.
Ike's at face? How about (funny) faces at Ike's? http://cgi.ebay.de/Muenzen-USA-Libe...ryZ42728QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem Ribbit
clembo: A way to increase his %'age? The first two negs that I noticed were about the free Ikes. also, notice this: "COMPENSATION: Should the winning bidder default on completing the transaction, I reserve the alternative to assess and collect a restocking fee as compensation for fees and holding costs related to the incomplete transaction. The restocking fee will amount to $10 + 20 percent of the sale price."
10+ years on ebay and this is the only seller that I have ever received neutrals from. I sent back some VF Franklins that were listed as BU using stock pictures, which was not disclosed until I complained.
Don't knock him. He's such a good guy that he is willing to sell 1,630 of his 213 available coins, including a couple of 100 coin sales. You can't get an accurate picture of his feedback from Toolhaus because when you check the box to allow more than 1,000, the five-minute time limit bites you in the fundament.
My bad just glanced at a few things, put two and two together and came up with five So apparently this gimmick isn't working too well for him? clembo
Got my Ike in the mail today. Not the 1972 Type 2 I was hoping for! But for face I guess I can nt complain!
This is the 2nd time he offered this deal. 2 weeks ago he was doing a face value Susan B Anthony. I buy them each time. I have bought unc Franklins form him in the past and was pretty satisfied. In his newsletter he is point blank saying that he wants to up his feedback rating and offer a good deal to new and repeat customers.
