    All,

I have received tremendous responses to my posts which have left me humbled i have been asked to come out of retirement and post coins. unfortunately my retirement is more of a permanent nature than we first thought but we can still look at some of the older foreign coins that i have in my collection and play guess the grade. so you get to see new coins but i get to stay retired best for both of us. If you click on the image it will become bigger to help with grading. thanks.

I'm not going to venture a guess at grade but I will say the coins are all extremely nice (as I would expect if they are in your collection).

I hope your "retirement" proves to be temporary.

    spock,

Okay, even though those are real grades used (check the Sammler Münzen Buch), I will give it a try with numerical grades! You must understand that I have a hard time grading some denominations and Series of U.S. coins and know virtually nothing about grading German coins.

MS-62/63 Double rimmed, has a ding and a long scratch and some corrosion.
    MS-64/65
    MS-60?
MS-64 Damage or Strike Thru on right of Reverse.
    MS-60?

Because I got them all correct or because that's way too low? :D

I'd guess even your lowest end coin trumps my best :)
