My latest purchase 1934-S WLH, gtg & your thoughts

    I find the images hard to read, as the right obv field is pretty dark. I think I see enough chatter to hold it back from gem, but plenty of luster, so I will guess MS64.
    Strike is very good, is this typical for 1930s S mints?

    65+, but I'm also going to be a contrarian here. I suppose it's just the photos or the light or whatever, but the surfaces bother me a bit. For such great detail I would have expected smoother fields. Can you more experienced folks help me out here?

    I'm using my phone to view this. What happened to the 3rd sun ray to the right of the L in LIBERTY? Is it from a grease filled die? MS 63. Could change when I see it on my laptop.
    Could be the phone but it looks like there's some light ED on the obverse.
