Howdy fellow coin peeps, :thumb: I just acquired my first Draped Bust Dollar this morning and my Breen's (not so) Complete Encyclopedia of US & Colonial Coins doesn't appear to cover the varieties of this year (1801), so I'm posting the seller's pics here in hopes someone can figure out what variety this is but if not, then once it arrives I'll post better pics. Ribbit Ps: If anyone remembers one I posted a long time ago, that we finally determined to be a counterfeit, I never bought that one. I said in the post that I had already bought it but that was to keep anyone from searching Ebay for it to snipe it from me (Buy It Now), since it was over in Spain and wasn't posted to US Ebay. Once we determined it wasn't authentic, I ran from that deal faster than a toad can hop. Ribbit-Ribbit-Ribbit
Nice coin Toad! However, whoever holed the coin should have had another hole put in their' head! Frank
There are two ways to look at that: 1. Anyone who holes a coin, needs to be put a hole. :stooge: 2. Anyone who holes a coin, makes it affordable for me to get in a nice condition (other than the hole). Ribbit
