Ancient Roman Coin Lot Help

I am interested in buying a lot of ancient Roman coins for my brother (again) and I wondered where to start. I have looked at David Lawrence, but for me, too expensive. I read on Coin Talk that lots could be bought affordably (200$). That is more my speed.
You all have been very helpful before, so I am hoping you can be again!

If you want to buy from a "retailer" rather than at auctions, try Vcoins. It's a conglomeration of ancient coin sellers and at any given time there are thousands-- perhaps tens of thousands-- of ancient coins for sale.

Searching for larger group lots may take some trial and error or a lot of scrolling. Using the advanced search I tried to narrow it a bit with the terms "Roman lot large", upper price limit of $200. There are still some single coin lots but there are also many group lots.

Note that some dealers who are on Vcoins maintain separate stores as well, and you can often find the same coins cheaper on their individual website. That is true for Forum Ancient Coins, for instance. Here's a link to their coins store, specifically to the group lots currently for sale. I've arranged it to display with the least expensive group lots first.

This is exactly what I needed. I have been to both of the sites you mention and have purchased single coins from them before. I just could not find the bulk lots. Tahnks again!
