    youa re correct. It is Its emporer Domitian from 81 - 96 AD

    You should note the two circles on the back: this coin was likely used as jewelry at some point, possibly in antiquity. Doesn't detract from the coin much though.

    How much did it set you back?

    I paid 37 with shipping.. did I get a good deal?
    I realize these were the most produced coins back then.
    I wanted to ask what it was worth before I posted a price so tehre wernt any changed opinions..

    37 is a fine price for it. It wasn't a steal, but it wasn't overpriced, in my opinion.

    thanks guys. The thing about this one is, Had you guys said I over paid by .. like.. 30 bucks, I wouldn't have cared, strictly because having a piece of history, from that long ago.. is worth far more than 38 bucks to me.. or however much it was.
    Unless you guys said it was a counterfeit.. then that would be a different story

    I think you got a real good deal with prices of ancients being the way they are these days...Nothing screams fake to me from the photos.
