    As stated in the article it is difficult to find a nice 1953P. I think what turns people off in this series is the frequency of bag marks, nicks, scratches, gouges, etc.
    As one who took 2 years to put together a halfway decent BU set [many FBL] I'll attest to the difficulty.
    Now this set is in a safe deposit box where I can't fuss over it daily anymore!
    I'm slowly gathering up a circulated set, a low priority, and a lot less frustrating.
