If I were to purchase the 100-coin bags from the Mint looking for 2019W items, would I be best to buy the "D" mint or one of the other two? TY

Interesting question.

I believe the W mint mark was purposely introduced into all the different US Mints.

 

Not available from the mint, in bags or rolls, only found in ballistic bags bound for circulation.

 

Well aren't the Mint's coin rolls taken from the big totes? TY

 

You won't get W's in those bags. The West Point quarters were sent out to distributors to mix in with their coins before rolling and sending to customers.

 

As I understand it, all W Quarters were sent out to get into the publics hands. None were given to the Mint to sell in rolls or bags.
