I was looking for a Dansco for my 1852 Large Cent die variety set and ended up with a Dansco Large Cent album for 1793-1856. The album is 97 coins long. I had a few coins already. Of course, I had to have another coin to fill a hole. I found one thinking I would crack it out of it's holder. I just got the coin I may still free it. Dansco has 3 holes for varieties of this date(1837). This coin attributes to N-3 Medium Letters(EDS). Earlier die state than the coin(s) Newcomb used for this die attribution.

Pho Welcome to Coin Talk. Please post clear photos of both sides of the entire coin. Can't tell you anything without photos. Where did you see the $15,000 coin online? If it was ETSY, stay away!
I've been looking, and I couldn't find a straight graded XF coin that had the eye appeal of this one, and I'm soooo happy to see the pics didn't do it justice. Often goes the other way, buying online. Now in hand, this has quickly jumped to one of my top 3 coins to take out for a gander.
Here are two attempts at capturing a 1903 Proof Barber dime. In the top one I tried to capture the darkness when light is reflected away, while the bottom one tries to show the reflectivity of the mirrors.
My 2nd one arrived a little later in the day....I've already called the mint got the return label, and will drop it off today at a UPS store.
