Before I placed my re-post of the announcement, I did not see your post though I searched for "Bressett" in the titles. Yesterday, I was in Best Buy window shopping and spent some time with home security systems. They are ridiculously cheap and easy to install.
Those ridiculously cheap and easy to install security systems are ridiculously easy to defeat. You get what you pay for.

Actually, the collectibles insurance offered by Hugh Wood is supposed to cover theft of coins as well. I have my policy with them.
I wish Ken the best. It has to be a really tough time. Just trying to figure out what all is missing will drive you crazy. It's going to take time to come up with a complete list. It's cool that Doug Davis is there to help.
I have a ring doorbell and use a different camera (hunting type) for extra security, nobody can see it all they pay attention to is the ring doorbell. An outdoor camera would be useful depending on where it can be hidden.
Yes, they give you money, that doesn't really replace your coins. Yes you can buy more but the connection you have to those first coins that were stolen can't be replaced.
