My bank--Harbor One Bank--RARELY gets new minted. I got 10 mint rolls last week but they were only "P" Cumberland and Lowell. Two small die chips out of 10 rolls.
NO "W"...

 

They ween't supposed to be released till Monday (today)

 

Don't know about the Mint. I live in Utah and the rolls should have been released from the Denver Mint. All of the rolls that I cracked were from Philadelphia (except for the 'W's I found.

 

How do you guys locate boxes and rolls with new quarters in them? I tried about 7 or 8 banks in the St. Louis area today, all the tellers were nice and let me check the ends of the rolls, but every bank only had boxes with old quarters. Totally struck out.

 

I don't specifically look for them. I just regularly order boxes from my credit union. I get what I get.

 

Yes you get what you get. Sometimes you get " virgin" uncirculated rolls of same coin, but mostly its a mix of all kinds. Just gotta sift through them like panning for gold. But they are there somewhere

You should! I can't find any up here in PA. You find lots down there.

 

I just traded with a guy in VA for the Missions quarters I need. Hopefully by monday all of this west point madness will be over for me.

 

Well the hunt is over. The bounty has been awarded. I'm getting one last box tomorrow in hopes I can score a "first week of discovery" label. After that I'll go back through it all for some choice coins and dump them all back. Was still fun.
