Im new here, so i dont know if this is the right category to post this in. Please correct me if its not! I have had this coin for a while but i dont know anything about it. The inscriptures are almost not visible and hard to intprete. I was wondering if anyone recognised it had some information about it. thank you!
Looks like this: Gordian III AR Antoninianus. Obverse: IMP CAES M ANT GORDIANVS AVG, radiate, draped bust right Reverse: P M TR P II COS P P, Providentia standing with globe & scepter. http://www.wildwinds.com/coins/sear5/s8634.html EDIT: this should also be in the Ancients section. I will request a move.
Thank you so muchfor the help! I didnt any fabrication date concerning the coin. Is it likely that it is from when gordian III was emperor, or do you think it was made later?
