Well I went the greater Oskaloosa Iowa coin and stamp show over the weekend, and thought I would give an update of this very exiting coin show.
The first pic is taken arriving into town. (Lower pic now) next is the fine accomodations available in town.

Luckily the route to the show was clearly marked! Then I finally arrived.

My friend AL set up a booth at that show this weekend. He says it is always a good show. Tom

    Which corner was he on?

Anyway being such a small show had it's advantages. I got to sit and bs with most of the dealers, and did find a few good deals.
Here are a few more pics.

So how many dealers were there? Ten?

Good guess, there were ten dealers, but two had mainly stamps.
One dealer, Mckee coins, always brings most of the coins from his shop with him. He has stacks and stacks of pages filled with two x two,s. This time he didn't have far to pack them, his shop is about a half a block from the mall that the show was in.

Here are pics of the hot lips Morgan I picked up and the 1900 O/CC I got.

The hot lips was not marked as such so I count it as my first cherry pic.
    Got both under $30 each.

I was actually very exited. They are the first varieties for the Morgan series for me.
I have been looking for an 1878 7/8 tailfeather Morgan, but all I have seen so far at shows have the weak version. Most so weak they are almost impossible to see, even with a 10x glass. If I am going to buy one I want to be able to see the feathers underneath. I looked at an ANACS graded coin at this show and even with magnified I could only pick up one faint feather.

Sounds like you did great for such a small show.

Here is a 78-S I picked up. Nothing real special, but the price was right and I thought it had a pretty good strike. Close picks of strike detail.
