I have in my small collection a silver spanish coin dated 1711, Carolus 111, sorry I am unable to post a photo.
The ledgend reads: HISPANIARVM REX 1711. IT HAS A LARGE CROWN AND UNDERNEATH IS: CAOS WITH ANOTHER LETTER INTERWOVEN OVER THE O I CANT DECIPHER THIS COULD BE AN R AND L TOGETHER. ON THE REVERSE? IS THE LEDGEND CAROLUS 111 D G AND A LARGE CROWNED SHIELD OF THE HAPSBURG FAMILY. THIS CONFUSED ME BECAUSE IN 1711 CHARLES 111 WAS ARCHDUKE OF AUSTRIA HE HAD A CLAIM TO THE SPANISH CROWN AND I CANNOT FIND ANY REFERENCE TOCOINS STRUCK FOR HIM IN SPAIN. THERE IS NO DENOMINATION ON IT BUT TO THE LEFT OF THE CROWN AS A LARGE R AN TO THE RIGHT IS 11 OR 17. SIZE:1
INCH DIAMETER. I WOULD BE VERY GRATEFUL FO ANY HELP. THANK YOU. NORM....NEW USER.

Your coin would have a different date of course, but it is a 2 reales struck in Spain under Carlos III.
