I lobe parthian style coins and Im almost getting a purebreed parthian drachm.
I say pure breed because currently all I have is indoparthian and kings of persis.
stay tuned for the drachm. In the meanwhile here are some lovely obols of persis.

I believe this one is from Napad. c. 2nd century AD.

And these two belonging to Darev (Darius 2) c. 1st century AD

Nice coins, @Muhammad Niazi ! What denomination, size, weights are they? Are these all Obols, and you are getting the Drachmae?

I only have a few from this area (Parthia and Persis).

I only have this one Persis:

Here is one of mine from Parthia:

Very nice OP coins. I think Persis tends to get overlooked, but they maintained the Persian cultural identity during the Parthian period and eventually established the Sasanian dynasty, so they deserve to be talked about more. Here's one of my Persis coins, a hemidrachm of Ardashir IV:

Beware the Parthian coins, though. Once you get started, you will become obsessed and they will take over your collection.

All obols, I dont have a weighing scale (will get one soon). all are 11 to 10mm. A drachm coming by next week.

haha! :D how did you know?

I agree. Persis is like the intermediate from the achaemenids to the sassanians. Supposedly continuing the bloodline of the achaemenids. Hope to get a coin of that time too.

Also yes, that is the plan. As they arent very common in my area, I dont hesitate to grab one as soon as it is offered.
