At work while cashing in some change I came across a twenty cent coin. I don't have a picture of it right now but can get one tomorrow. On the front of the coin it has a lady standing with her left hand out to the side. Across the top of the coin it says ''Twenty centavos'' and on the bottom it has something that I can not make out. ... and the back of the coin looks like this. http://cgi.ebay.ca/1944-D-SILVER-US...yZ149932QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem does anyone know anything about this coin? I have been looking and can't find anything. Thanks in advance. Misty
Hey Misty, Are you in the Phillipines? If so, there are a lot of interesting coins floating around those islands. Get a camera so you can take pics of the ones you don't know and post away. :thumb: Ribbit
Nope I am in the panhandle of Florida. I haven't found anything else yet since the twenty cent coin. I have a silver certificate dollar bill and a steel penny from 1943. The rest are just half dollars and dollar coins(newer ones and older ones.) Saving them for my daughter. Shes 2 now so maybe when she gets old enough they MIGHT be worth a little something.
Toad tried to be detective Toad and it backfired you should try to stay on the handsome side of the street
I think that you would be better off saving coins that have been discontinued, such as the Washington quarter (pre state) and anything from before the 1960s. Newer halves and dollar coins will take quite a while to be worth something. Especially dollar coins, as hopefully they'll start circulating one day.
Yeah i am saving all these 19th century coins right now int he hope that when i grow up they will be worth something
