I also went 66. I doubt they graded it FS because there's at least 1 break.
But you can never predict what they do.

small hits on the rim both obverse and reverse in a couple spots brings this down to 65- nice orange peel

I'm at a 64 but then I tend to under grade.

I went with 66 as it’s fairly clean throughout and appealing overall
...the steps don’t appear to be there even for 5fs

I graded it what I would grade it if I was selling it - MS64.

66, I love 30’s Jefferson nickels. Probably the scarcest coin I’ve found in circulation was a 1939-S 5C in 2018.

physics-fan3.14 You got any more of them.... prooflikes?

I voted 65, but on looking at it again I could see it going 66. There are enough significant marks on this coin (that you can't explain away with planchet roughness!) to limit the grade. The luster appears to be quite strong.

As for the steps, there are enough marks on the steps that I'm going to say no-FS, despite an otherwise apparently strong strike.

I think the reverse limits it to MS65.

66, no FS, but higher grade possible due to variety, IMO, Jim
