Hey guys. I have a 1917 mckinley gold dollar commemorative on ebay. I just wondered what you guys would grade it... edited - you are not permitted to post links to your own active auctions Thanks!
It's impossible to say with the small photos and the glare. Better photos would help to grade this coin both for us and for potential buyers. Better photos may equate to a higher selling price (if the coin is as nice as you say).
Nice You have a nice example of a McKinley dollar , I 'd say AU-50 , worth about $8-850 . A very desireable coin & the rarer of the 2 years it was made . rzage:hatch::hammer::smile
Ditto As per what Hobo said I gave the grade with the pictures you gave , the grade could & probably would have been different with more detailed pictures if I were bidding I would not have given you the benifit of doubt , like I did for you when you were just asking what I thought . rzage:smile
Am I allowed to post a link to the auction? http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dl...64151&_trksid=p3907.m32&_trkparms=tab=Selling
coindude, if you read the rules of cointalk carefully, you are not allowed to post your own listings except in the advertisement section. That's the policy here.
