Had an excellent hunt yesterday with a box of nickels and one of pennies.

From the Nickels I got one 1944 S, quite nicely toned, and a nice bunch of 39-49 non silvers, many 50s coins in that one, pleasure to look through.
The penny box had my first wheat ender and a total of 11. Here's the thing; among the 56 Ds, 52 Ds, 42s and other wheaties, was a 1914 with what looks like a very faint D. Well worn, probably AG3 but not too much muck on it.
I have to set up the scope to get a better look and pictures.

I was slated to get 20 boxes last week, yet again my bank 4 didn't order and if it wasn't' for my 2nd bank that had an extra 4 boxes I would have only searched 12, with all that being stated I ended up searching 16 boxes, 13 skunks, three boxes contained, 6 pieces of silver, 2-64P's, 2-67, 1-68, and 1-69, Also pulled 10-NIFC's, 1-08P, 2-11D's, 4-17D's, and 3-18D's. No 2019's as of today. Hope everyone had a great weekend. Keep Stacking!

Went to my neighboring town for my monthly pickup run and to deliver the wife’s homemade cookies to my favorite tellers and suppliers of halves. Picked up 5 sealed boxes, a $300 partial box, & a $295.50 partial bag. The $300 MWRs gave up:
    1 x 1964
    The $295.50 gave up:
    1 x 1964-D
    1 x 1965
    2 x 1966
    1 x 1967
    3 x 1968-D
    1 x 1974-D DDO
Will start on the 5 boxes soon. One of them had two 40% enders.:D
On the way back home, 4 fighter jets took off in rapid succession from the airport adjacent to the highway I was traveling on, and passed over me. I managed to snap a photo of the last one with my iPhone as it zoomed away from me. What a thrill! Is this the F/A-18 Hornet or the F-22 Raptor you military jet experts?

@TexAg great finds, and I look forward to your report on the boxes.

Looks like an F-22. I work on a base and they literally fly alllll day. At a 5,000 lb/hr fuel burn rate, that equates to A LOT of fuel!

1 bank yesterday had $500 in MWR halves. I bought $200 to test the waters...nada. Local MWR halves are rarely good.

On the bright side, I will soon be travelling out of my home state, so I called and ordered 6 boxes of halves at a bank near my destination. Boxes at this destination are hit or miss, like most areas, but they are markedly better than local boxes, so I am looking forward to searching them.

    HH everyone!

Thanks for the info on the F-22. I was very cool watching the 4 of them take off in front of and over me. I too will be traveling to another state where several of my banks have branches, and was thinking about ordering boxes so they would be there when I arrive. I'm thinking maybe a week in advance of my arrival????

Although orders typically require only 3-5 business days, I would call about 2 weeks in advance to allow plenty of lead time. I recommend also inquiring about coin counters in the area.

This is the only keeper from my last box of nickels. Fairly descent 58 P. Not an FS, but close. To bad for the circulation DSC01994.JPG DSC01995.JPG DSC01998.JPG scratches.

This is the last box I searched last night while watching the Astros lose to the Nationals in late innings :arghh:

    1 x 1963-D Franklin
    1 x 1968-D
    1 x 1970-D (my first!)
    1 x 1974-D DDO
Super excited about finding my 1st 1970-D. It happened after only 471,000 halves searched, lol! And, I’ve been finding a good many Franklins - 7 this month alone. This Brinks box had a companion box which I also bought. It has 2 enders, I’m hoping to find more of this small collection dump. Will search it later with the wife. ;) HH everybody!

COINgrats on the '70D! I have found 2, D's and 1, S and searched only 250,000 halves, so I count myself lucky! FWIW all 3 of my 70's came from the east coast.

Well the companion Brinks box with 2 enders was a bit of a bust. Only found a total of 3 x 40%ers and another 1974-D DDO. Oh well, I pick up a few more boxes today.

I don’t know why these coins turned out so golden colored. Must have been the lighting. They really are silver colored.

Of 4 banks today, 2 had halves. 1 had $2 loose, and another had $20 CWRs and $60 MWRs.

Nothing in the loose or CWRs, but the MWRs finally held something worthwhile: 1960D Franklin

Some of the MWRs were torn. The wrappers on the MWRs were very generic, which was interesting. I’m satisfied.
