This 2012 D has a strikethrough error on reverse and possibly obverse in front of chin and top of head. Reverse, the shield is loaded. There are more pics. It only allow me to upload at a time.
Do you really expect someone to tell you that is a strikethrough near Lincoln's chin from that photo? Regarding the reverse, you don't want to hear that it is just PMD without a reason, so why should I bother. Chris
All PMD - here is the explanation.. Circulation hits to the Copper plating, coin wrapper crimping machine damage and scratches by some sharp object.. That's how the damage has occurred. Did you learn something? or is that not a good enough explanation?
OP doesn't want to learn apparently. Only wants to be told the coin in question is what they (mistakenly) think it is.
Crimper damage. Very common coin. Not sure who pioneered this term on here but DEFDAM :/ not a strikethrough.
It's all damage. Do I really need to explain why? It's already been explained by others. Just reread their posts.
I'm undecided on the activity going on in front of the beard. Could you post a clearer picture? Keep in mind that you don't necessarily have to zoom/magnify an event in advance of taking the picture. I've found that taking a picture at an optimal length and then enlarging it will provide a clearer object. For what it's worth, the shape of the activity in front of the beard has the telltale shape of a thread being struck through. So let's see if we can eliminate circulation damage.
