Should i send these in to be graded? I am a novice on coin grading and would like any advice I can get. 20191026_171332.jpg 20191026_171312.jpg

Have you checked completed listings to see what they are worth?

You will never recoup the cost you spend to get them graded. Waste of money.

Relatively common dates, even if quite attractive. Not worth the cost.

No, but they would look lovely in a Dansco album.

They look like proofs, but are not cameoed, so no.

Nice coins but not something to spend grading cost on.

As a general rule it’s not financially advantageous to have a coin graded if it’s under $200. Just love it

Ya want it graded? Buy it graded. By those photogs the coins look 'polished' to me.

The 59D might have too many digs to get a serious grade. But the 57 might be a different case. I don't collect too many quarters, so I'd be interested to hear what folks here think it'll settle at. The dig in the L and the wing appear to be the bigger detractors. But if it grades well, prices at Heritage Auctions may push that over the $200 threshold.

I don’t think those are polished. But the ‘57 obverse is slightly off centered and a weak strike on reverse. The ‘59 look from the pic to have some md on the 1&9 and I don’t know what is going on with the 5! Also weak strike on the reverse. Still no go on grading. You will have more money in it than it’s worth imo... really nice coins!!

I’m I close?? The. ‘59 does have what looks to me as a misaligned die.

@FoundinTN- Can I ask what your plans are with those coins?

No plans rly, they've been just sitting in my box for a while and I wanted to try and move them or potentially have them graded.

You never thought about completing an album/set of Washington quarters?

They would be a great start.

It depends on if you want to do a set with or without proof coins. However, a complete set of circulated Washington Quarters isn't that hard considering the bottom has fallen out on the 32-D and 32-S.
