    Hello every one!
Just wondering if $444 was a good price to pay for a NGC Pr66( old label)1950 proof Franklin?
It is always hard to get good pics of a slabbed coin. Let alone trying to grade one on Ebay. ( at least for me)
Also wondering what it may be worth? I have seen the price on PCGS website. $750 I think. ( I know this is for PCGS coins only.)
Only a 1951 to complete this entire series. Next, on to those tough early Washington quarter proofs.
    Lets hear your thoughts!

It would really depend on how the coin looks. I paid $405 for my last one and I think $415 for the one before that. I sold the my first one for right at or right under what I paid....I can't remember for sure.

If it has a good sharp strike, and no haze then I would say that it is a pretty good deal. NOTE: I haven't been watch the market on this date as close now that I own one. So check out Heritage and such and make sure you know what the going price is.

    Hey SPEEDY!!
I know you would step up to the plate. I guess I did not get as good of a deal as I thought. Cant be sure until I see the coin in hand.
    I JUST LOVE FRANKIES!!

$444 is within the range of PR66 sale price at auctions.

    Claw,
These coins can be tricky....when you get the coin in hand you might see it is better than you thought!
The first 1950 I bought was struck with wron dies and looked like a Business Strike. In fact, when I went to sell it I sent it to DLRC. They called me and told me that it wasn't a proof. The guy that called me was one of the mail Guys...Win...so I asked if he had the coin sitting there....he did and I started to point things out over the phone showing him that it was a proof. He agreeded :D

The next time I had alittle bit better idea on what I was hunting and I got this one:

With the low mintage...and a 66 as a grade (nice an high) I don't know if you can go wrong!

LOL! Harldy! In fact I feel really bad that I haven't completed my collection yet, but I haven't found a 1951 or 1952 that fits in with the rest of my set.
    Maybe some day!
