https://en.numista.com/catalogue/pieces83387.html That's the best I could do. Cant find one for 109th. As to what they are for, heaven knows. Who Wouldn't want an aluminum congressional Token?......Oh yeah.....ME!
Beardigger's got it. Pretty typical stuff...but checkout my avatar. Not so typical, but coins like this one find their way into collections...and maybe even circulation.
Button batteries are another classic nickel roll find. I suppose those are tossed into the same 'change bin' and without the readers...taken for a coin. Plastic tokens are another common find. Less common: silver bars in a roll of cents and a gold Ducat in a roll of nickels. CRH long enough, you might just see it all!!
I do like the foreign coins I find CRH. Last few weeks I got a Bahamian nickel, a 5 cent euro coin, a 25 cent Bahamian coin (both bahamian coins are in excellent proof-like condition) a nice Canadian Beaver nickel, and an indian rupee and a Helvetica (whatever that is).
Helvetica are Swiss coins I think. I used to find them regularly searching nickels. That's how I found the Ducat. I actually tossed it into the Foreign Finds jar for months. When prompted to see what countries I found CRH, I took a second look at the Ducat...realized it was gold and had a good laugh!! Only worth spot, but finding gold during a CRH event...priceless!!
Not a token, a token has or had some kind of exchange value. This is a medallion (Assuming a size of no greater than 2 inches, larger than that moves into the Medal category.)
