I had a happy surprise when I got home from work today. When Davissons posted this auction I was drawn to this particular piece. It appears to be struck particularly well and well, I just like it. It's the first I have of this style.

Photos and description from the auction lot.

Forgot to say: the surprise part was that I had forgotten about the auction until I got the notification that I had won.

Lovely coin! I, too, have won coins I had forgotten I had bid on. It's a pleasant surprise!
