1950 $100s

    I have two $100 bills from 1950, i was wondering if they're of than face value. also i have alot of star notes that i will post soon, thank you!

    Those are from the Chicago and the Philadelphia districts. As with anything numismatic the value is based on condition or grade of the note. If you have a means of posting an image of them it will be far easier to give you a value range on them.

    nice notes to have! they got some age, not seen all that often and they are stars. As mentioned by others in this thread, and your other thread, pictures are the only way anyone can give you an estimate ... without them, any assigned value is pure guesswork :)

    here are the $100s from 1950, they are in pretty good condition for being so old. are they worth any more than face value?

    They are worth a nominal amount over face, on the right day with the right person you might get $120 each for them. Book value on them is higher, but I have found through experience with my $50's that book value and selling value don't always agree, especially depending on where you are and who wants them.

    What scottishmoney said. Larger denominations are harder to move.

    And Scottish. Whoever bought your 50E star note got a heck of a deal.
