What does it mean when someone "follows" you on the site, or you're following someone else?

I am NOT what you would call a tech guy. And that is actually funny when you know that my wife is director of technology services at a major university...... But doesn’t this mean they are one and the same?

The problem with that statement is that it assumes you have a right to post on this forum. Same pitfall happens to people when they talk about driving privileges. Posting here is a privilege and you have no rights, because you have no rights there are no injustices when it come to posting or being banned. The owner reserves the right to refuse service to anyone for any reason. Simple as that.

 

This site is not your personal “fight club” if some is rude just let it roll off of your back. Most times the established member who is being other than nice is just tired of the same old stuff. Examples are: poorly executed images, a new member being aggressive, new members arguing with an outcome they don’t like, new members just wanting to know how much their crappy zinc Lincoln is worth, their having a bad day............. you see any actions stated here that fit your problem?

We all want everyone to get along and get the information they need. And when someone rocks the boat they get scolded or worse booted. It’s just the way it is. @Peter T Davis owns the site and @GDJMSP is the sheriff. Lucky for us Doug and his moderators keep most of the crap in check.

I RARELY use the ignore button, but just did for @scotttey. Life is too short for me to swim around in my pity potty, holding grudges and resentments (I've done a lot of it and hurt myself far more than others). I don't need to read his.

@Frannyskid, please take a moment to read all the posts in this thread. Then you might understand why I use my rarely-used IGNORE button. I've been a member over four years and currently have only one person on ignore. I've had others over the years, but after a time, have un-ignored them. Some folks just don't get what being respectful and "getting over it" mean.

@Frannyskid I not sure if you read ALL of @scotttey / @robs943 (the same person) diatribe but he is a little unstable it’s seems. So he is probably resentful before he starts I would think after reading all of his posts. Please just stick to coins and leave the crazies to the mods. All we can do is try to help but as always some don’t want help they just want to rant, fight and call people names.
