damaged 1969 D quarter- under bust area and below eagle

    I read the 1960's were bad years for quarters. I am curious about the gaps seen on both sides, is this wear and tear damage as the coin is 50 years old.Thanks in advance for all replies

    Not sure what area you are referring to but this quarter looks normal to me. It's just circulation wear and tear.
