Just finished the 2nd box of cents for the week.
    There were 2498 post-83 Zincolns, 1x1998 Canadian 1c, and 1x1974P copper cent.

The only thing of note was a 1998P WAM (my 66th).

The week started off well, My first out of 4 boxes I pulled 3-90%ers and 14-40%ers, My second bank they had an extra 2 boxes, for a total of 6 and pulled 1-40%, My third bank of 4 boxes all skunks, and my fourth bank I should have picked up 4 boxes but they only had one and it had 1-66. So for the week I picked up 19 pieces of silver, 3-64's one P, 1-65, 4-66, 10-67, and 1-68. I also pulled a 72D No FG, 1-87P, 1-03S Clad Proof, 1-06 and 1-07P Satin Finish. 2-11P, and 3-18D's. It was a very nice week, I hope you all had a great week and a wonderful weekend. It all starts again Tuesday! by the way the blue reflection on the Proof is the color of the gloves I wear when CRH.

I don't see what you are seeing on the 2014, This in my experience is not a double die error. Mechanical doubling is not an error.

Picked up 8 CWRs of halves at the "Canadian" bank. Nothing worth keeping although it looks like someone cashed in a worthless collection. All of the coins were facing the same way and each roll was one date.

Then I went to the "Brand C" bank and asked if they had halves. Apparently they order and carry them, but they wouldn't give me more than $280 worth. When I handed them $300, they somehow "found" two more rolls. I ended up getting 28 MWRs and 2 CWRs. The CWRs were obvious silver searching dumps. The MWRs were suspicious. The rolls were definitely machine wrapped, but it makes me wonder if a local collector/silver stacker actually has a wrapping machine. The wrappers were NF String and Sons branded (isn't that what the Mint uses for circulation coins?) and showed no signs of being re-wrapped. Almost nothing of value in the MWRs except for two NIFCs that, to be honest, if I wasn't a hoarder, I probably would not keep. One 2007D with the ring of death (ring gouge from coin wrapping machine) and one 2014P with moderate nicks in the fields. I wonder if these were simply rejected by a previous hunter.

I think I'm going to stop searching halves for a while. None of the banks around me will order them because either they can't (which may be a lie), or they always have some, but are other searchers' dumps. (I do the courteous thing and dump mine into a coin counter at my credit union where they send the bag out by armored car once it fills up, so there's no chance of me or another searcher coming across the dumped coins until after Loomis or whoever else mixes and rewraps them)

Look at the date on the 2004. It is a known doubled die.

This afternoon I stopped at the bank where I picked up $50 in cwr halves Saturday and found a couple 40%ers. They had only 1 cwr of halves left plus 2 loose. The cwr was junk, and the 2 loose were Cu-Ni clad and had been burned so they were a nasty black color.

I stopped at another bank and the teller was thrilled when I asked for halves. He said someone had deposited $130 worth of halves, 34 Ikes, and 2 dime booklets dated 1957 earlier today. I thought I had ascended into Heaven!

I bought everything. Here is a photo of all the goods. Obviously, someone had cashed in their collection at the second bank!

I was sooo excited! I pulled an adult beverage out of the fridge and slowly sipped it as I opened the rolls and booklets...

    1, ‘67 half
    1, 68D half

Numerous AU ‘71-76 halves, common circulated Ikes, and the dime booklets held ‘65-72 Roosevelts. Most of the Cu-Ni clad halves had corrosion on the edges like this

Which is a lesson to all of us to put our coins in plastic tubes instead of paper wrappers.

Here’s a photo of the AU-BU dimes inside the booklets

The copyright date on the booklets was 1957.

I was disappointed, but I admit opening the rolls and booklets was @$@?! exciting

    Happy hunting all!

Are you sure it's missing the nickel? Dimes aren't plated.

I wasn't coin roll hunting at work today, but work has coin rolls, and well, how's this for an ender?

(Yes, I know that it has no additional value besides novelty, but I have found quite a few of them over the years and have been saving them because I'm a hoarder. I think I'm up to about 10 of them now)

Its straight copper I don't know if its a mint error with a penny plachet or if its a coin someone messed with.
