Looks like Quality Coins has retaliated a bit on Coinbug. I checked Coin Bug today, and saw I had two negatives on there. Wish me luck with resolving this, as this is my first time ever getting bad feedback. Will post more as time goes on. But, for now, just wish me luck. Phoenix
no need for luck we need to show force here. we should get that guy kicked out from coinbug. They need to understand they cant mess with Cointalk members. I am with you Phoenix go get him. I magine leaving abad feedback for you ridiculous
I saw the headline and thought you had dug three holes in the ground....good luck on clearing up the neg's Richard
Here's the link to my feedback. What gets me upset is the feedback he left is very misleading, actually to me lying, trying to make me, and the situation look bad. I think the whole thing though is really a lack of communication. Not from me. Hopefully we can get this worked out, I have no idea how we can resolve the negatives though. I'll post more as time goes on, and invite him to come join us if it works out. What gets me though is I only left him a neutral, and that was only for the grading, left him a positive for the overall experience on the 24-S. The 11-S, don't get me started on that, lol, that is totally out of whack. Phoenix
The "guilty until proven innocent" nature of negative feedback is quite a pain to overcome. Good luck.
Latest update for now, these things can be very, very aggrivating. Still trying to work this out, but it doesn't seem that I am getting through to him. Here is what is going on so far: :goof: I never heard anything back from that, so I emailed him again with: He replies with: What I don't get is, I didn't even mentioned the coin in the email?! I'm getting confused, so I reply with: Never heard anything back yet. I'm not really sure what to do know, as I'm not sure if he understands what I am saying? Thoughts, opinions, help?!? Lol. What went on with the 11-S that he left the last feedback for: I requested a postal money order strictly in the sale. Either that, or cash. I get a bank money order to an out of state bank. Being as I don't have a bank account, I couldn't accept it, and I emailed him telling him that. But I did offer to send it back to him, and refund him the money he spent on it, even though it was his mistake. Never heard anything back, so I never sent it, not knowing what he wanted to do. Till he left the feedback, and I asked him again, what he wanted to do, then he told me to refund him it. So, I just popped it in the mail to him. There's the full story (atleast I'm almost positive it is), and I don't know what to do, as it seems more like a lack of communication on his part? What do I do if someone doesn't get back in touch with me? Advice, thoughts? But, that's the story for now, and I will keep you guys updated best I can. Might just invite him here to, might help straigten this out, but I don't know, lol, I'm confused. Phoenix
Phoenix, He is a total ***hole. It sounds like you are going to keep the coin, but he is as stubborn as a mule! I also like his one and two word answers. I would say, that you should leave the muck and move on. There are other great sellers on coinbug like woodyscoins and DJPLX, but just see if you can fix the feedback.
It sounds to me like he's one of those high volume sellers that are just "too busy" to actually deal with customers. These are the absolutely the worst kind of people to deal with and I'd suggest leaving the guy a negative just to get his attention and maybe to get him focus on the issue for 5 minutes. The damage to your rep is already done, bud... time to fight back with what little leverage you have.
Thanks for the replies and opinions, I'm at the point (not to be rude or anything,) but I'm banging my head against the wall! :headbang: I sent him the following email: He replied: :goof: :headbang: :goof: I don't know what to do with someone that doesn't communicate, I'm trying to keep my cool, but he's starting to tick me off with these short answers, avoiding the real questions! Should I get in touch with the owner of the site, or just neg him and be done with it? If I just neg him, I don't see it as really over IMHO, but I don't know really what else to do. I don't know how to communicate with someone that doesn't talk back??!! Luckily most of the stuff I've been selling has been sold, so now I will probably just take a break from all that for awhile. Phoenix
Since he won't listen to you otherwise give him the neg. That should at least get him talking and the two of you can agree to a mutual withdrawal of negs. Just a thought Richard
Sorry to see you in a bind Tyler. I have not seen the coin your talking about, but if you bought an AU and got an XF, either return it or keep it. I would have told you the same. Return the coin for a refund, there will be no price negotiation tho, that happens before the money changes hands. The guy does sound like he being short or blunt, but some folks just are.
