Awesome Bank Find, What's it's Grade?

Wow, just found this note at my bank. $2, 1976.

I just can't believe that I found one in that condition. No bends, no creases, no fingerprints, no nothing.

 

I noticed at the bottom it was sort of cut wierd. It dips low then comes back up.

 

Don't collect notes , but if theres no creases bends sounds crisp unc . ( is that a grade ) nice catch however !

nice find. $2 dollar bills at my branch are a dime a dozen though. we have strap after strap of 2's from 1976 on that are all pretty close to UNC

 

Looks like UNC if you are correct in that there are no creases what-so-ever.

Unfortunately, these are still somewhat common (but tough to find in the wild). A dealer would ask $3 to $5 for that note (it does appear to have the black ink on the face as a result of rubbing the adjacent note) , but probably not pay more than face unless you had a whole stack to make it worthwhile.

yeah .. as gatzdon said cool notes to have in a collection!! but not a get-rich type of note.
