http://myworld.ebay.ca/adren1144 They said in their listing that it was free S/H. once I won the item they charged me about $11 for S/H. Fine, whatever. I can deal with that right? Then after 30 days of not receiving the item, i contacted the seller, No response. I contacted via e-mail, no response. Then I messaged him/her and told them that I was filing a non-received item dispute. They finally got back to me and told me that it hasn't been shipped yet. I told them to give me a refund then. 7 days, 5 e-mails, and 1 threat of next level action with paypal I finally got the refund. I posted this so that you guys would know to look out for this guy on E-bay. I don't like leaving neg feedback on e-bay but I couldn't let this one go
Well reading the feedback for the seller would have steered me clear. Lots negatives and if some of the positives hint at problems.
this is kinda humorous then I told he he deserved it in another e-mail and this is what he wrote me ain't this guy something else? I can't stop lauging:mouth:
I bought a small gold coin last week on eBay, the seller charged $6 for postage, sent it registered at $12.26, so I know he ate that 6.26 difference. I am going to send the balance to him tonight, just the right thing to do, besides it is a NEAT little coin.
Actually, what they say is: But that is no excuse for not shipping. Be sure to tell him about all of his free publicity. I am sure that he will appreciate that. BTW, he just received another negative "Coins never recieved..poor business operator..needs to be removed for Ebay....". Sound familiar.
i had won a few auctions from them also. it took well over a month to receive my items. i feel you pain. lol i gave them positive feedback but i gave them poor ratings for the sipping time.
The Seller does note the Free S/H and that he or she ships to N and S America, Europe and Australia (which I assume is free), then why not Canada??!! Frank
Certainly won't argue with that. While I do not expect a seller to have 100% positive feedback this seller everything seems to point to a bad experience. Some of the others you really have to read all of the feedback to get a feel. I think purchasing on Ebay is a gamble in most cases. I still search it but I have started using certain dealers more - yes I pay a premium, but do not mind. I feel confident about what coins I am getting. Hey wheels? Have you pointed out that his shipping says N and S America. Canada is part of North American Continent. They need to clean it up and list the countries.
If you read his listing, he only offers free shipping to the USA. His handling fees apply to all other countries.
One of the reasons they need to cleanup their auction listings. It is too confusing (which means I would skip some auctions) and so they should be clear.
No question it could have been clearer. However, he paid the fees and that was not why he left the negative. He left the negative because he did not receive what he bought. That is an absolutely valid reason for a negative - fees or no fees.
