PIDT is commonly seen on thin coins like dimes or cents that are softer, not nickels or quarters. I'm not willing to say for sure that it's a die clash either, maybe just circulation damage on a well circulated coin.
Seeing Doug's head superimposed on your avatar made me think of the movie, "The Fly"...…."Help me! Help me!" Chris
YWW. A,IINAAIIAA TIAAAAMCSA,ISHOCT.IOWKDPE! (You were wrong. And, it is not an abbreviation, it is an acronym. There is actually an anti-acronym movement currently sweeping America, it started here on CT. In other words, keepa da plain English!). See how it feels when only you know what you mean?...Spark
How about you get on with your life and disregard my post! Because I have others that will respond to my post! Ur like a day late bro! Ur input doesn’t matter! Sorta like my poo yesterday morning!
It's not uncommon for acronyms here at all. AT, NT, DD, DDD, MAD, MD, UC, BU, USA, etc. I'll be sure to attend the next Anti-Acronym meeting though and I will bring wrist braces. Might also teach Dvorak to help save everyone from carpal tunnel syndrome now that we will stop using acronyms. QWERTY is the devil.
@Amberlarry22 I’m with spark. It’s quite rude to think we can read your mind please don’t be lazy and type out your thoughts in english. Reed BTW (by the way) the link below has lists of numismatic acronyms to help. https://www.cointalk.com/posts/3779930/
...to clarify...I am anti-acronym, I don’t speak for others. But, I confess to using numismatic ones frequently...but PIDT?...not common enough for most folks...Spark
