Nice doubling. Looks like there doubling on the lower neck and the liberty!!! Sorry I like it... that’s all I can give!
Thanks, thought it looked pretty flat myself. Coin was so covered in black and green (was green through the now shinny area) I could not even tell what the date was. Could barely tell it was a Peace dollar. Still a damaged coin, but now I at lease appreciate what it is. The doubling was an interesting surprise.
Thanks Ken, I normally would not do this to a coin but this coin was sooooo badly toned and with what ever was green was/is damaging the heck out of this poor coin I dipped the heck out of it rinsed thoroughly in distilled water and honestly it probably needs some more care to get the rest off the obverse of this coin. These are for you Mike. I really felt it was MD because of how flat but always better to get more opinions.
Ken, Does it look like I am having fun yet? I need more desk space! Each of those rows of cents is a different year or mint mark starting from about 1960 going to about 1974. Still 6 more rolls to go through. All hand picked as the best from the BU rolls they came from. Going cross eyed!
