If I had a numismatic book I wanted to sell, I would contact the guy I have purchased several from.

Your best bet may be to list the item on ebay or Amazon. Yes you can always sell the book to a book dealer but you will not get as much for he has to seel it for a profit too.

Selling books on ebay or Amazon is not like selling coins for people don't have to worry about a book being fake or having any of the problems that coins do. So you often receive full value.

Of course you could just list it in the Open forum here on Coin Talk.

i have had dealings w/ Orville J. Grady from back in the early 1980's. i have not dealt w/ him for yrs , but he is still in business and was always fair w/ me whether i was buying or selling.
also...www.alibris.com is a great place for books and i believe they now offer a service for you to sell your books thru them. i do not know the commission rates, ect, but they have been an excellent book source for me.
    best wishes....steve
also...i agree w/ GDJMSP that the forum may be an excellent option for you as well.

Also, Doug is right, some of us book collectors right here may be interested in the book.

How about a picture of the cover and the signatures?

Not to get your hopes up, but, aside from a few books & individuals, most signed coin books do not go for a lot of money.

I would agree. I'm wondering what the auction was and whether or not that is the reason for the offer. Either that or possibly one or some of the other autographs might be worthwhile. I can't see a Ganz autograph being that valuable. So what is the sale, is it a softbound, hardcover, or deluxe edition, and what are some of the other signatures?
