1875-CC dime from APMEX - what would you grade it?

    I bought this dime from APMEX unslabbed. What would you grade it? Is it worth slabbing or keeping raw?

    BTW - I'm still working on my photography - reverse looks inside out (trick of the light).

    Not worth having it slabbed. But it is a nice example.

    Your light should come from the northwest.

    Typical weak reverse. Probably XF40 grade. Looks like a nice type coin.

    No I believe that the mm is correct.. there an above and below that year.

    You are correct. My tired eyes saw 1876. I edited my post immediately after I posted the original response.

    I'd guess it would grade around EF-40, and would be worth about $150.

    This is not worth getting graded.

    Worth slabbing only if you think you need to have ALL your coins certified. Personally, I think you should, if only because that'll help your heirs when you've passed on.
