I found this 1939 P nickel CRH tonight. It is in great condition for its age. While researching it, I found there are a few varieties for this coin. I suspect this may be a 1938 REV. Variety. Can anybody help me figure out if I’m right or not? Thank you in advance! @furryfrog02 @paddyman98

I honestly can't tell based on the picture and I don't know too much about the different varieties besides that they exist. That being said, that is a fine looking 39 for CRH!
The more I look at it I think you're correct that it is the reverse of 40. Things look different when one's sober.
You want some advice....see what happens when you cut out all the background by using the "CROP" tool? One actually gets to see the coin and not the blanket!
