Is there a PCGS member who can tell me the pop report for 1803 half cents in Poor 1? I think I may have something to be slabbed... :kewl:
IMO the coin doesn't have enough value to merit slabbing. The Greysheet has a Good-4 worth $42. Poor-1 is 3 grades below that.
I'm well aware. But I have heard that there are some people who would pay more for a slabbed P-1. I was hoping to extrapolate that from a population report. I don't pretend to understand why - I guess its hard to find one with a lot of wear but no real damage that someone thought to slab. Me, genuinely curious about slabbing? Lol! :mouth:
I am one of those people. I believe that there are some naturally worn coins that look awesome! like the Morgan I carry in my pocket. according to my dad, its the best coin in my collection
