The line in front of his mouth looks like a die scratch caused from cleaning the die with an abrasive. Any ding, dent or scratch on the Coin Die can leave a raised mark on the coin. As for the ear I can not help you with that. You can research it here.

Full front and back photos of coin in question is helpful to those that answer questions.

The line in front of the mouth doesn't look raised to me. It looks indented, which makes it PMD.
It looks to have been struck or impressed with something.
The side of the line away from the mouth appears to be flatter than the side nearest the mouth, though both sides of that line have an edge. The side closest to the mouth appears to be deeper than the side away from the mouth. Both edges seem to go downwards, thus incused, and thus, PMD.

But remember folks, these are just photos, and only the holder of the coin knows for sure.

Hey @Christian buffington , is that line raised or incused?

BTW, I don't see any doubling but those are not the best photos I've ever seen either.

I can't tell about either one. Sorry. The T is damaged. Please post photos of the entire coin, cropped and full frame of course, not those thumbnails.
