2019 BU Lincoln Cent Strike Through?

    @Kaye A bit difficult from this vantage point. As long a the mark is incuse with no raised edges, then possibly struck through thread or a wire bristle. It would be a keeper for me but does not have any real value unless you could find someone who would buy it.

    No raised edges. It looks like a gouge.

    That's because it is a gouge. Not a strike through but damaged. You can see the color difference in the copper. It hasn't had time to tone like the rest of the coin. The edges are a little sharp as well.
