1963 fs nickel

    found this in a jar of coins. How it is in such good condition I dont know. My question is, is this as nice a coin as I think and should I get it graded....also its value

    It’s an impaired proof. No, you shouldn’t get it graded, it has very little value over face at this point.

    Jay. What lehigh96 said!!! Not much value but I keep all my impaired proofs. On it best day of its life is $3. Pf65. Your is not there at all.....

    Yes, to all those who really hope their coin is worth THOUSANDS.
    Do yourself a favor and listen to these guys.
    They REALLY DO know what they are talking about. I mean, as for is in the darkness or shadows, we LOVE it when you're all hard headed and arguing .

    It's worth a nickel. It's a proof coin found in circulation so now it's impaired. Proof coins are not FS tradable and this has a small ding on the right side of the steps do it wouldn't be a FS anyway.
