Of the six versions of this coin, yours most closely resembles the "tall four" version (Y#45.3), but although the discoloration makes it hard to see, there do seem to be some differences in the calligraphy.

Being in China you must be aware of how commonly counterfeited this coin is, so what can you tell us about its weight, diameter, or other information concerning its authenticity?

Why do you post your phone number instead of providing the information gxseries and I have requested?

You see, what is interesting is that it seems to be some kind of overstrike but I can't quite tell what the underlayer is at the bottom.

Guys, I'll translate for this guy - language shouldn't be a barrier to numismatic studies.

"I'm a person living in Anhwei and it is a currency of my home town. I personally like old coins. If you have the opportunity, you should check our forum. It's a shame that my English levels are too low. I can't understand what everyone's opinions and discussions."

I'll translate for this guy and will type my opinion as well.

    Translation as follows:

wangjiang, we want to ask you if the coin that you have is a counterfeit or not. China is known to produce a lot of fake coins.

I also want to know if your coin is an overstruck coin - it just seems to be overstruck. I just couldn't tell what the original coin was in the first place.

    [IMG]

The chinese words on the reverse looks suspected to me. The fonts of the english words 'An-Hwei Province' and '7 mace 2 candareens' looks too stiff.
