1993 D Penny. Carpet look

    Weird looking one for sure almost like its got carpet on it.

    Environmental damage. Maybe heat related.

    The melting point of zinc is only 787F/420C. You can easily melt a zincoln in the flame of your gas stove.

    (DON'T try it unless you enjoy drops of molten metal on your stove or other places :dead: )

    The zinc will flow out leaving a copper shell if done right. Like an M&M with no chocolate.

    Maybe they'll start a new collectable series like they do with worn coins? Zincs with the worst coatings or some such.
