Decided to buy something that is not usual for me two banknotes in folders :D Both are from Thailand
The first is a celebration of the Thai Queens 6th Cycle Birthday in 2004

Curiously the Thai notes do not really fit into any theme that I currently collect, but I had to have them. They really are fascinating and actually come in pretty nice folders with English translations of what the note is commemorating. You have to give it to the Bank of Thailand, a neat collectable and one I am confident that they have made money on.

There are some awesome clothes on display there! Very attractive things, I like them, especially the first.

There is a seller in Thailand on eBay that sells these for less than $10-12 each, and packs them very well. This seller has lots of world notes and I just made another decent sized order from them.

The guy in Thailand is not bad, if you mean Noteshobby, I buy a fair bit from him. OK you can shop around and find a few items that are cheaper but overall a very good ebayer. also a guy in the US called yuri111 a bit more exspensive but also some very good quality notes :thumb:

I find overall his notes are underpriced, a few are higher. I notice several online dealers recently hiked their prices significantly on European notes, like 30-40%.

European notes seem to be going silly as far as prices are concerned, I did though managed to pick up 5 Spannish last night for a reasonable price from a dealer in Spain and a couple of WWII French issues as well :D

Thailand commemorative notes are beautiful. I have one many years ago and I sold it away as it did not fit into my collection theme. Somehow the price never soar when I sold it away.

Very attractive notes. I really like how the Queen notes are meant to be displayed portrait instead of landscape... first time I've seen that done with a banknote.

I do the same thing with my business cards! lol

Actually the portrait vignettes are not that unusual, Switzerland, Israel, Venezuela etc. use them, and I like them because you can do full large sized images.
