physics-fan3.14 You got any more of them.... prooflikes?

This is my 8000th post here. Go ahead and post your favorite coin, and explain why it's your favorite!

This is one of my favorites: NGC MS-63 PL Capped Bust Half. I had been searching for a PL bust half for a long time, and they always just seemed to slip through my fingers. I was finally able to capture this one in 2016, and it quickly became one of the most special pieces in my collection. The toning is delightful, and the fields are flashy. It's almost impossible to take a good picture of this coin, so I offer two different views.

    Post your favorite coin!

    I don't really have a favorite coin. I don't really have a favorite medal.

But, I like this one because she is so sexy looking.

I have a lot of favorites. Today it is this hammered '09 LWC that I picked up yesterday at a LCS. PhotoEditor_20191005_213637381.jpg

I just enjoy looking at this one on my SBD visits. Rivals the '42-C Small Date as the rarest Charlotte-mint Half Eagle.

Like Kentucky, my favorite is usually my latest:

One of my favorite designs, great vivid color, strong luster, well-struck, gem surfaces and the toning creates a subtle cameo contrast. I just love this unique turn-of-the-century coin and I’ll never sell it.

I’ve learned a lot from @C-B-D as well so the fact that it was an Allegiance coin is icing on the cake.

    My favorite coin:
This 1766 William Pitt Farthing commemorates the english Statesman who defended the rights of the American Colonists before Parliament and persuasively argued to get the controversial Stamp Act of 1765 repealed - "No Taxation Without Representation". Its background and history is directly related to the start of the American Revolution. It is also A rare coin with less than 24 known.

Many of you have seen this on the forum in the past. While we were dating,
my future wife bought this for my birthday. I love the clean frosty cheeks,
on the coin that is. I've shown the coin to many dealers and we are baffled
by the grade. As good as Todd is with the camera, this is one coin that looks
better in hand. Congrats on 8000.
