Hi, I wanted to know if this is a struck through debris quarter or PMD? The area runs from the beak of the bird on the reverse, up through the "E" in STATES. I thought it was interesting because it runs from the beak. Thank you in advance!

It looks like it might have been struck through a metal strip of some sort. I wish you had a better close-up so I could examine the right edge to see if there is coin metal pushed up.

Meow thinks you need a picture a bit more close up, and from the side.
Kind of like if the gouge was the Grand canyon, you in a helicopter take a pic as you approached it at low altitude.

Here are some more pictures that provide a better close-up. Thank you for your help also! The first is head on, the others are at angles. 19105201859647.jpg Image127.jpg Image128.jpg Image129.jpg

Is the line raised or incuse? Your latest photos, 1 and 4 make it look like a strike through while 2 and 3 make it look like a gouge. In your 3rd photo the brightness shows on the right side of the letters on the left side of the line below the U in UNUM makeing it looks like it's incuse. On the 4th photo the brightness (or lighting) is on the left side of the letters but on the right side of the line. IMO if it was raised the brightness would be on the same side of the letters. (I think I over analyzed this). lol :)

The line is incuse. Picture 1 in my second post is from a different camera used for 2-4. I tried to get different angles for pictures 2-4 this includes lighting. Sorry for the confusion I have caused.

No need to be sorry. It's not easy getting great photos. Your best effort is appreciated.

Taking photos from various angles doesn't serve the purpose. That just creates shadows in different places. What I was hoping was that you would be able to take close-ups (possibly) in two segments, say, from the eagle's beak to the "L" in PLURIBUS and from the "L" in PLURIBUS to the "E" in STATES. That way we might be able to see if there was any evidence of coin metal pushed up along the edge.

No need to apologize. You just got sidetracked thinking that the photos from different angles would help. These last images are perfect. Nice strikethrough!
