    TIF Always learning.

    I also chose the Germanius Capta but it was not a slam-dunk. Several others could have just as easily been my favorite.

    I voted #4 for the realistic engraving.

    I was tempted to go with #1 though.

    The portrait on number 10 is totally whacky. I doubt Vespasian looked like that after he was 10 years old.

    I'm quite surprised that the 'Germania Capta' denarius is the runaway winner. I think it a fantastic coin, but personally, the Vespasian 'Quadriga/Victory' denarius is by far my favourite silver piece in the collection.

    And I'm not even mentioning the Titus Cistophorus!
